Art. Whoa. I actually had time to color an inkling of mine and upload something today. I've been in Alexandria nearly the whole day, so who'd a-thunk I would've made time to draw a little something for therapy?

Wonders never cease, I'll tell ya that.

It was a tiresome day. We sat at the hospital waiting for the doctor to release my father-in-law, but they didn't show up 'til about 3:00 this afternoon and told him they wanted to watch him for one more day. Ugh. So, ~The-Brad and I came back home. He's mowing the yard and I've finished unpacking for him as well as cleaned house and made a fresh batch of sweet tea, because I'm good like that.

Yeah, we also got locked out of our car this morning and had to call Pop-a-Lock. At least it was in front of a convenient store with a restroom and not...somewhere different entirely.



Anyways, I've not been aggravating people like I normally do when a convention is nearing, but the realization has finally touched down on me. In exactly two weeks to the very hour, I will be sitting in New Orleans at the airport, watching =SilverEmerald-DAS coming off the plane. And, then, the very next day, MechaCon, baby! I'm finally getting excited about it since I've been so bogged down with everything else going on. But, the countdown begins now. I just hope time flies by.

Especially since we've been mustering up Hetalia cosplayers between the MechaCon forum and deviantART. Looks like my wish to be surrounded by countries is getting to come true! I swear, I've been teased by all the cosplay photoshoots from other conventions with multitudes of cosplayers, so I've been raring to see to it that we have our own take-over at MechaCon.

Ah, speaking of Hetalia (as if I talk of anything else), I added a new country-friend to my Shoutboard in honor of his first full day as a deviant. So, go forth and welcome ~TenaciousBen to the wonderful world of art and insanity.
